EVIDENCE Cimalgex® takes just over two hours to reach maximum concentration3
QUICK REMINDER

Tmax is the time it takes to reach the maximum concentration of a drug in the plasma following oral administration.
T1/2 is the ‘elimination half life’ or the time taken to decrease the drug concentration in the body by a half of the starting dose during elimination.

Time to maximum concentration (Tmax) = 2 hours 15 minutes1
Fast Tmax means Cimalgex® can be given orally pre-operatively with other medications for a beneficial effect post-op. The speed of onset also compares favourably with injectables.
